For UAE Residents
An Umrah visa is an official entry permit issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that allows Muslim pilgrims to enter the country specifically to perform Umrah, the sacred pilgrimage to Makkah.

Processing times vary by visa type: Traditional Umrah visa (agent): 3-5 business days; Tourist eVisa (online): 5 minutes to 24 hours; Nusuk platform: 2-4 business days. During peak seasons, add 2-3 extra days.
Yes. Women aged 18 and above can travel independently for Umrah without a mahram. This policy is confirmed for 2026. No special documentation required.
Meningitis (ACWY) vaccination is mandatory and must be taken at least 10 days before travel (valid for 3 years). COVID-19 vaccine is currently not mandatory but recommended. Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended but not required.
Traditional Umrah visas generally cannot be extended. Tourist eVisas also cannot be extended—you must exit Saudi Arabia and can re-enter with the same eVisa if still valid. Extensions are only granted for documented medical emergencies.
Traditional Umrah visa: AED 150-300 (agent service charges; visa is free). Tourist eVisa: AED 640 (includes visa + insurance). Additional costs include vaccination (AED 120) and photos (AED 30).
